Internal Rhyme / My Poem to George W. Bush

In this mirror, it's you I see...

or maybe...

could it be...

just an illusionary reality?

For the reflection I see just might be

a reflection of the person he lets me see.

I judge myself as I judge my foe

to learn from judgment to help forego

one of those karmic scenarios.

I learn from my actions and reactions too...

I learn from myself as well as you.

So, neglecting reflections I create so free

seems to create judgment in my own civil humanity

and with this judgment I later learn

to attempt to yearn concern to earn return

to compassion and love of my fellow man

right before me or in distant lands.

One comes easy, the other with fear...

from judgments of images and things I hear

brought to me to view self clear

for dis-ease and fear CAN disappear

and believe it or not... without the judgment I sub-consciously place sincere!

I once judged another by their cover in hopes they'd disappear

and threatened force so cavalier if they interfered.

I've been there, done that, already lost the souvenirs!

How could one not agree to see the decree of my own culture's democracy...

offered with good intention and such perceived honesty?

Well... with this mirror it's me I see

or maybe...

it's just an illusionary reality?

The reflection I see

just might be...

the reflection my foe

just can't see...

or this reflection I see...

just might be

a reflection of me...

which I don't see...

and if that's the case... from where does my ignorance now flow?
