Internal Rhyme / To Not Judge an Orange, no doubt!

Good Evening!

I'm Robin,

Robin the Rhymer,

an old-timer,

a rhymer of word and thought,

an age old forget-me-not.

I'm a double time on a dime,

full-time, old school rhymer,

a quick time prime time nickel and dime Internal Rhymer!

"Oh no!

A rhymer?!

Is your bit legit...

or do you just sit and spit the skit ya get?"

Yes and no, for sometimes, I actually commit to the words I spit

as I transmit in order to benefit the hypocrites

who seem to admit that rhyme itself...

is just a lickety-split well knit bit

of counterfeit horse... well, you know the rest!

Just look at Dr. Seuss and Bob Dylan and how they played the rhyme game. I stand proud of my rhyme and feel it the same.

I've been told, I'm a hurricane...

a hurricane of rhyme contained

for I drain the pain,

train the brain,

attain the gain...

then re-arrange the strain,

from pain detained

that was once chained in strain

now without the drain on the brain,

you know, the one that creates the migraine?
And all from the simple rhyme game.

My campaign's not in vain...

it seems preordained...

for it all comes from the same game

as we all neglect the same blame...

of simple judgment.

"I don't do it! He does it!

But if I did it...

I wouldn't admit it!

because if I did it...

I'll tell you now...

I wouldn't forbid it!"

Judging others seems to be what I'm talking about!

Well, we've all done it,

we can't outrun it,

we hunt it,

confront it,

rerun it like we won it...

then walk away without a second thought

without the help to help plot the thoughts we spot

to not get caught in consequential clots and knots within the slots

we once thought sought

from

simply

judging

others.

Let me explain this frame of game

from simple judgment

I've been proud to tame.

I now aim this flame I claim

not for self-acclaim,

not to blame the shame I overcame

but frame by frame

it's been the same game proclaimed.

I aim this flame to claim the same by name

by attempting to not judge others who play THAT game!

It's just the counterclaim to the flame of blame I came...

to try to explain...

in the first place

because I'm Robin,

Robin, the Rhymer

give me a subject or topic

and I'm prone to rhyme ‘er...

(well, except for one word so, please don't judge me if I can't come up with anything to rhyme with "orange"...)

cuz even though I'm Robin,

Robin the Rhymer,

the old-timer,

a rhymer of word and thought

an age old forget-me-not.

the double time on a dime,

full-time, old school rhymer,

a quick time prime time nickel and dime Internal Rhymer,

I will continue in my attempt to figure out

a word that rhymes with "Orange", no doubt!!!
