God Bless America... and Universal Healthcare

I am not here by chance...

I'm not here to sing and dance,

I'm here to enhance my stance

for Universal Healthcare to advance.

God Bless America,

the land that I love...

stand beside her...

and guide her...

Woah! STOP RIGHT THERE!...

stand beside her...

and GUIDE HER?!

Well, well, well! We found it!

Now we know why I'm writing this here.

So, as sincere as I can be here...

I'll say it now...

I'll say it loud and clear here!

Universal Healthcare is a human right

not to fear here!

It's not a plight we fight in congress

by some plump white

not quite so sprite lawmakers

whose sole purpose it seems is to delight and excite

their backer's financial plight...

despite their own lack of consciousness in denying

Universal Healthcare...

because it would downright

take too many bones out of the mouths of those

who are not aware of what it's like

to not be able to afford to bare

the costs of healthcare...

or to be someone who can dare

to free the minds

from the stress and anxiety of one's inability

to afford healthcare out right

just to fight for our nation's most basic human right!

The right when ill

to be able to afford one to heal

knowing that most important asset...

YOU...

is protected without ill will.

It's just free-will to fulfill good-will

but those who vote against healthcare?

Seem to be those who have never lived

with the psychological and mental warfare

the mind fights with the thought of...

"How am I going to pay for this care?

and at this point, how can I even want to live when I know my family might have to give

everything they have to allow me

to carry on to live!

How in God's Green Earth can the body even attempt to aid itself

in the healing process

when once again

the mind is sweatin'

the almighty spin on the plump and phat benjamin!

God Bless America...

land that I love...

stand beside her

and guide her...

STOP!

Stand beside her and guide her?!

So, let us refer her to prefer

Universal Healthcare to occur

for you, me and of course for her.

A race that cares for it's sick

will politic

for quick assistance to those in need...

for to help heal others

will heal the need

to heal oneself indeed

and help proceed

to the understanding

of this most important basic need we've held

since our physical birth...

the right to exist on plant earth

and assist our sick and feel it's worth...

for if those political shoes

were now worn by you?...

think for a moment...

what would you do?

Those who desperately need this care

are not the ones in Washington there...

for their sitting pretty in their sun.

They have their medical insurance

for the longrun

and to not be outdone...

most have a couple of policies

to a point

their overdone...

and I'll guarantee you THIS...

None have NONE!

I've got healthcare insurance

for me and my wife...

why?

Just in case, one of us gets ill

or acquires a disease that might jeopardize our life.

We're protected...

and all this for only

230 bucks a month...

but wait! There's more...

your co-payment can't be ignored

your insurance will pay this

and you're left to pay that!

Holy Sh#t!

SPLAT!

Sorry about that!

But I gotta pay all that?!

Darn!

I had that same procedure done in France for free

without all that rat-a-tat tat insurance cr@p

they yap and rap about

after they've trapped,

strapped

and kidnapped my jocky strap!

It's a madcap mishap that slaps my trap

everytime I go to the doctor

to heal myself

slap, slap, slap

I feel handicapped!

Wait a minute...

slap,

slap,

slap...

can you imagine that?

How do the handicap deal with that?

Holy Sh#t! Rat-a-tat-tat!

Sorry about that!

I just layed some pipe...

can you smell that?

You probably can't...

we're American!

We're conditioned to smell the sh#t.

We tie a ribbon on it

hold it up

stand down wind and benefit from it!

It's those in power who can't commit

to the smell of this simple sh#t!

That's it!

And then I'm told...

go back to France if you don't like it here!

Yeah, France IS quite queer...

they have socialized medicine to revere all year

oh... and they don't believe in war

and they're insincere to America's fight

to free the fear of everyone in the world

except their own people who persevere

with lack of compassion

compassion so dear...

time has come...

to shift pragmatic thought brought

and conditioned through the media's onslaught

of over wrought thought taught to young minds caught without conscious choice of what is taught

through our all encompassing media powers for profits sought!

We're self-taught by a t.v onslaught of behavioral propangada

which we can not see...

even as an alterthought!

But in the mean time...

check with your doctor to find out more about zolac...

(not to be taken if you have problems with kidneys, blatter, irregular heart beats...

or if you're allergic to crabmeat

or eat whole wheat,

and do not take zolac

if you eat red meat in your bare feet!)

So, if your bored,

turn on the t.v. and meet...

your new Drug Lord!

They've got people hooked into believing they'll be better off taking this or that pill

to create the addiction, to create the thrill

knowing our insurance (if you're lucky enough to afford it!) will foot the bill.

This is the cycle we create each day

and around and around it goes and over and over as the addiction delays

the understanding of why we need this damn pill in the first place today!

Hey!

America will soon realize the connection of Universal Healthcare

and their own need to heal themselves

not necessarily through prayer

but by taking a stand to care

for the well-fare of others

who need to be healed to free despair.

Why is this so hard to see?

Attention K-Mart shoppers!

To help heal others... simply heals ME!

What part of this don't we understand?

The demand to expand

human consciousness firsthand

by offering free healthcare

to every woman and man!

"Won't that be expensive?" I hear them say

attempting to downplay

logic and reason

they seem to no longer display.

Yeah...

but it's cheaper than a WAR

(is what I could say...)

"But war helps the economy get back on track

to fire the enormous ignorance and debt from the war

we certainly don't lack!"

The health of a single human being

is more important than any bill.

It's a right to live healthy and be aided when ill

it's a right of all

much like free will.

If we don't shift our thoughts

concerning healthcare soon...

we'll remain immuned

to understanding the purpose of life

outside the womb...

and in time..

we'll see it clear!

but until then... God Bless America and every other country without the FEAR!

Dear Robin:  I loved  your verbal gymnastics, and I joined your fan club.  I disagree with you regarding Universal Health Care, but that doesn't prevent a friendship.  In my life, I have never heard, read about or seen an incident where anyone was denied health care.  Call 911 and an ambulance will have you in an emergency room within minutes, no questions asked.   Our health care is the greatest in the world, and I challenge you to show any incident where it has been denied.  If you think it is expensive now, Robin, wait until it is free.  The French government taxes people until they are sick, and French caregivers to whom I have spoken hate the system.  But still love your peppy writing.  It makes me feel good.  Best, your friend, Marty RicKard

Good day, Marty! I'm "tickled pink" that you enjoyed my word play for that to me... is sometimes more important than the meaning of the piece because a smile here and there can sometimes help cure an unhealthy state somewhere else.
