Internal Rhyme / How To Ask For What I Want

I'm learning from burning and yearning to turning my dreams
into the formality of reality and without the brutality
of getting THIS when asking for THAT or getting THAT
when I'm asking for THIS!
That is reality's duality.
That's the fatality of not exactly asking for what I want
as I plant that seed to touch what I need to help exceed
expectations in which to succeed!
I tend to proceed with not knowing how to ask or plead
instead, I bleed from the need I merely feed
by asking for what I sometimes really don't need.
I'm not clear enough when I ask for that seed.
I tend to sometimes mislead my need
much like some do with their own greed indeed.
I just need to be clear with what I ask for... a little bit
or a whole lot more.
I should be specific to explore my need
and I certainly don't need to ignore the metaphor of what I am asking for...
for when I open that door...
it may open to forevermore
and that may be good or that may be bad to the core.
That merely depends on whether I am CONSCIOUS when I ask
for what I'm asking for!
